Hi,

Hope Im posting this in the correct forum. I have a XP PRO 64bit  SP2 (latest version support till April 2014)

It has 4GB of ram and I have upgraded it to 8GB. The bios see the extra ram but the OS will not. Running crucial memory tool also sees the ram. I have tried looking for a memory mapping option in the bios but there is none. I have also tried enabling the 15-16mb memory hole but this made the server hang on post and I had to remove bios battery to fix. Also tried ticking the maximum memory in msconfig but only allows to state 4gig.

Anyway I can get this OS to see the extra memory that the bios does ?

Thanks
