You might not have permission to use this network resource

Hello,

I am trying to resolve the reason why I am unable to connect my Windows XP (Running in a Parallels environment) will not connect to my PC's at home. I am using TeamViewer VPN to connect to the computers. At which point, I am able to ping my computer with no problem.

I am able to see the files on the XP machine from my computer at home (Windows 7). However, I am unable to connect to my Windows 7 machine from XP. I have enabled IP routing on the XP machine, also have the guest computer assigned its own IP address vice sharing the IP of the MAC. In addition, I have tried accessing the machine with the firewalls off to see if that was the issue. And lastly, I have cleared the network credentials for the user.

Also, the folders are shared. I have access to this machine from within the network via RDP and network resources. The reason why I use TeamViewer in parallels is to take advantage of the VPN. Currently my computers reside in a residential building where the VPN ports are not being forwarded on my local IP :-(

Any help would be greatly appreciated :-)

THANK YOU!!!!!
