Hi,
While there is no installation of Windows on my local hard drive, I have tried to install :
- Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition Version 5.1. 2600 Service Pack 1
Build 2600 - Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition Version 5.1. 2600 Service Pack 2
Build 2600 - Microsoft Windows XP Professional Edition Version 5.1. 2600 Service Pack 3
Build 2600
However, in each time, I was faced this error below:
Blue Screen error( Stop Code: 0x0000050(0xB25500c2,0x00000000,0x00000000)
That Blue Screen error showed me while Windows Setup was copying the files to
prepare installing Windows XP with any SP.
I didn't install any new hardware. Also, there are no settings, such as
BIOS HD mode in the BOIS to be set to AHCI.
I was told: 'The usual suspect here is BIOS HD mode is set to AHCI and not Compatibility, but as you said no such options exist and I suspect they would not in the BIOS considering its age. This is often reflected as a 0x7B issue when Windows uses
Int-13H on boot via installation method.'
Although I have tried to install Windows XP on three computers of mine below, I ended up with the same blue screen error. All of my compyters do not have a BIOS HD mode be set to AHCI.
